Page Layout in RL6

All RL6 pages have the same general layout. Some pages have a widget area on the side of the page, such as the Surveillance File, File Info Center and submission or management form. The graphics below shows the Search Page and Surveillance File page:

  1. Navigation Toolbar – on the left side of the screen, the toolbar contains buttons used to navigate to the various pages in RL6. The navigation toolbar is not displayed to users who have logged in anonymously.
  2. Header – at the top of the page, the RLDatix logo appears at the left; on the right, the Help button used to access the help system, and the Logged in as menu used to access your preferences (see Changing Your Preferences), the Admin Center, Notes and the Logout link.
  3. Page Title – the title of the page is shown below the header area.
  4. Content Area – as the largest area of the page, the content area displays forms, search results, headings, tabs, buttons and more.
  5. Action Links/Buttons – allow you to work with the selected record(s) in the table grid below.
  6. WidgetsClosedA collapsible area of the page that displays both fixed and dynamic content, such as a list of relevant files, reports, folders and more. – provide additional information related to the surveillance file (RL6:Infection only).
  7. Panel – appears on the Search page and submission and management forms. The panel includes elements, such as filters and widgets that affect what is shown in the content area.
